Hi, I’m Anke. A 27-year-old photographer from Ghent with a passion for the energy of events and the quiet details that make them unforgettable. My journey into photography began ten years ago with my grandmother’s analog point-and-shoot camera—a faithful little companion that hasn’t missed a single party to this day.
In my daily work at FibreMood, I focus on illustration and lay-out. I bring that same graphic eye to my photography: I’m constantly looking at composition, color palettes, and the way an image 'breathes.' Whether it’s the perfect drape of a fabric or the way light fills a room, I strive to find the aesthetic within the beautiful chaos of an event.
Hoi, ik ben Anke. Een 27-jarige fotograaf van Gent met een passie voor de dynamiek van events en de stille details die ze onvergetelijk maken. Mijn fotografieverhaal begon tien jaar geleden met het analoge point-and-shoot cameraatje van mijn oma — een trouwe metgezel die tot op de dag van vandaag geen enkel feestje mist.
In mijn dagelijkse werk bij FibreMood houd ik me bezig met illustratie en lay-out. Dat grafische oog neem ik mee wanneer ik fotografeer: ik kijk naar compositie, kleurgebruik en de manier waarop een beeld 'staat'. Of het nu gaat om de perfecte val van een kledingstuk of de manier waarop het licht de zaal vult; ik zoek naar de esthetiek in de chaos van een evenement.
